Welcome and introduction by Professor David Ruben, Director of the New York University in London

Lecture part 1: Paul Ryan presents a critical investigation on the creative liberation and influence Rimbaud has on poets, writers and artists. This presentation plots out a critical history and is punctuated by examples of contemporary poems, writings, performance and film.
